We participated in the Steelcase project featuring an office building located in Dallas, Texas. Along with the Steelcase competition, we researched information on today's workplace and how it can be improved while we incorporated that research into our design of the office. The primary research I studied was about Gen Z in the workplace, how color scheme affects work ethic, and inclusive design. By researching this, I created a space that incorporated ways that would improve work ethic, mental health and spaces that are inclusive to anyone with disabilities. We were given the building shell of this building and were required to include a mezzanine within the thirty-foot ceilings as well as create a custom reception desk.
